Have you ever thought that your wedding might be pushing the boundaries of normality with your wedding, well don’t worry, read these? Well stop, read through some of these and then decide if what you are doing is pushing the boundaries or not! These get better as you read on!

  1. One Man in Derbyshire (UK) decided that it would be a good idea for him to get to his wedding via abseil. Basically he camped out at the top of the church and then once his wife arrived he abseiled straight down to meet her.
  2. The sky seemed like a good place for one couple to get married. When you think about it, it is something else, trust me. These people decided not to get married on the inside of the plane. They got married on the wings of the planes.
  3. Now you have to be more building orientated for this one, or at least in the building industry. This couple thought of getting married in the ram scoop of a JCB. They not only got married in the scoop, but they also were taken to and from the wedding in it as well.
  4. This one isn’t really what i would call crazy, more a strange wedding. There was one lady that was absolutely insistent that she have a wedding train over 100 metres long. It took over eighty people to hold the entire thing up.
  5. There was one love stricken man that decided rowing across the Atlantic to proclaim his love was the best thing to do. It took him around 30 days to make it. Thank god he managed to get to his wedding early, if he was late then there may not have been a wedding!
  6. Here is our finalist. This wedding required precise execution and needed to be carried out very quickly? Getting married in the sky must be difficult when falling through the air, but one couple managed it.

Weddings abroad have been considered a crazy idea by many people, but when compared to these they seem pretty harmless. It all depends if you plan on getting married while on Luxury holidays, this will determine how you arrive. Sky Diving on Egypt holidays into a wedding could also be a bit tricky!

For many, the idea of marrying a foreign wedding is bliss. Jetting off to some exotic country, escaping the worries of life back home and marrying the person you love. Getting married abroad can be a wonderful experience and a great option for many people. You can’t just book your hotel and get someone to feed the cat whilst you’re away though, there are lots of points to consider first. Here are the three things that should be top of your organisational list.

Cost
. If people think that getting married in their own country is expensive, they soon realise just how cheap it is when compared to doing it abroad. Forgetting transportation for the moment, there are added costs for things such as accommodation for everyone and the provision of food for the duration of the trip. You may not be putting people up in a castle hotel, but costs still add up. It is always best to try and save up more money than you actually need so that you can then cover unforeseen costs and it will be one less thing you have to worry about.

Family
. Sometimes weddings are as much about the family present as the couple themselves. Individuals are often left having to pay for their own travel costs as the wedding couple rarely have the money to pay for everyone. Depending on where the wedding is, that could be very expensive and some people may not be able to travel for medical reasons. It is worth discussing your wedding plans with your family and close friends before you decide to book things in another country as you may find it is just not practical.

Laws
. People frequently forget that each country has its own set of laws and some can enforce them with little mercy, even if it is your wedding day. In your home country it might be fine to get married in bars, fields or castle wedding venues, but abroad you might find that the wedding is only legal if it takes place in a church or similar. What is more, when it comes to booking an official to conduct the wedding ceremony, you might face some issues finding one of the right faith when doing it in other countries.
