As we all know the summer months is when most weddings throughout the globe take place, families and friends get together to celebrate the union of a couple. But lately weddings are much more commercial. Some people are literally getting married for the honeymoon, ring and gifts. So let us take a look at the most requested gifts.

House
You see a huge amount of people asking their friends and close family to give them money towards buying a house. They use excuses such as we want to settle down and start a family.

Honeymoon
A vast amount of people are no longer paying for their own honeymoons and are waiting for their parents to buy it for them as a gift.

Wedding
A lot of people in different countries do not actually want to pay the costs for their wedding in the slightest anymore, so they ask for funds to cover the wedding costs, plus to leave a little extra bonus on top of it all.

Cars
Alot of couples are also asking people to pay towards a new car. Or they are literally appraching their parents and asking them to buy them one outright.

Weddings have changed so much recently and that is why we have seen a huge increase in divorces over the last decade a go. Weddings should not be about gifts, and you certainly should not ask for one off people, let them buy you what they want. The day itself should be about spending the rest of your life with someone you love and getting a great wedding photography to take pictures of the special day that you will be able to cherish forever.
